Medical Education: Digital Platform to Raise Awarenes for a Condition
Project type
Sponsored medical education program with content independently generated by the faculty experts reflecting their knowledge and opinions.
Date
2013 -2015
Organization
Vifor Pharma (now CSL Vifor) was a global specialty pharmaceuticals company headquartered in Switzerland. With over 2000 employees, distributed worldwide, it was a market leader in the treatment areas of iron deficiency, cardiorenal conditions, and cardiology.
To raise awareness for iron deficiency within the medical community, I led a project to upgrade and relaunch a digital medical education platform, IronTherapy.Org. The revamped website was meant to deliver bite-size updates on the latest developments about iron deficiency across different therapeutic areas, from women's health to cardiology and oncology.
The revamped IronTherapy.com featured short articles authored by renowned international experts and included footage of leading scientists discussing their most recent research and its significance. The program also introduced a monthly newsletter highlighting key events and insights from the preceding month.
Set up as an independent company-sponsored program, the editorial direction and content were curated by an Advisory Board comprising global experts in the field, ensuring a comprehensive and authoritative resource for medical professionals.
